Lori's story is truly unbelievable! It's amazing to think that someone could experience or endure so much and like so may others out there...never get the proper help to cope with such a traumatic awakening initially. It's also incredibly sad to think about how society treats people in the medical system who were/are in a similar situation that Lori experienced. The fact that society chooses not to acknowledge that there is more out there than what we deem "normal or acceptable" human behavior is a true crime. I'm so glad that Lori and others are speaking their 'Truth' and letting the world know there is power out there in the universe that for the most part remains untapped by most people. I hope others feel the way I did after reading this story...the human mind is such a powerful tool. Find your own strength in whatever capacity you can in this ordinary life...as Lori did.Product details

Humorous and seemingly “out there” at times written from the heart. Lori shares her story of love, the unknown and trusting others as well as her intuition. Coming from a Western education and way of life, Lori finds herself in a state of mind many call insanity, but is it really the process of Enlightenment so many are searching for? After reading her story, be careful what you ask for! Be prepared to step into the ancient beliefs of the Indigenous people crashing with the Western culture of our world today.

I must say that I have read hundreds of books in my spiritual evolution and all my readings have given me pieces of the puzzle. This book has traveled into my heart and given me enourmous spiritual wealth and heritage. It transmits love for the journey back home. This book truly has the power to remind humanity that change & transformation into "love" is the path.
I congratulate the author on a masterfully written book - (which I would call a journey to be more precise)
I had heard parts of Lori Morrison’s story before, but after reading Lori The Disintegration of My Ordinary Reality, all I could think was, “I had no idea…”. This seemingly ordinary business woman was catapulted into the extraordinary after being struck by a beam of light from above. I can feel Lori’s desperation to understand what had happened and what was happening to her on all levels, including the manifestation of apparent mental illness and the onslaught of frightening psychic attacks. The description of Lori’s healing journeys with shaman, energy workers, psychiatrists and psychics was fascinating, culminating in her realization of the true nature of her connection to the Mayan. And then there was Tino, walking closely by Lori’s side from his place beyond the veil. The deep love and connection they shared in life transcended death in very real ways; I found that so hopeful. I highly recommend this book; Lori's story is captivating and provided me a new perspective on what it means to be called to service by the Divine.

Lori takes us on a ride through the Mayan culture, modern-day Shamanism; with travels to El Salvador, Brazil, Cusco, Peru and more... This book is a heartfelt lovestory, sharing loss, recovery, strength and courage, it reads like an adventure movie!
Wow! This book is AMAZING. Lori Morrison is an excellent writer, and the story she has to tell is mind-blowing. There are twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire book. The details in her writing style give you a feeling like you're there with her throughout the story. She makes comparisons that are poetic and memorable - here's an example "Living in El Salvador is like being a teabag steeped in Catholic hot water."
The experiences she has been through are incredible. I think that for many people they may seem far-fetched, but for me they felt familiar as my Mom has had a few of the same types of situations (such as seeing the colorful spirits in geometric shape forms, and having visions of an indigenous chief from a past life).
Reading this book has changed my life. It's a reminder that things we think are impossible are actually possible. I really hope this book gets made into a movie someday!
I could not put this book down. Lori has been able to put into words the experience that "has no words". The line between psychosis and Mystical experiences is a thin one and one that most in the mental health field have no concept of how to discern. Thus many who are experiencing a Spiritual Awakening are drugged into oblivion, instead of being given the tools they need to simply "ride the Windhorse"
Lori's work has already helped many, with this book she will be able to reach out and help so many more.
